Machine Operator Walter Wild is a New Zealand Food Manufacturing company with a substantial portfolio of iconic brands including Hubbards I Love Food Co Aunt Betty s Hansell s Vitafresh Greggs and Alfa One Our people are critical to our success Joining us means joining a global organisation with very exciting growth plans With a fresh approach we aspire to be the leading innovator marketer and creator of food in NZ Whilst our ambitions are big we don t want to feel big We believe in being fiercely independent and doing what we feel is right and sometimes that means taking the path less travelled We have multiple positions available for experienced Machine operators to join our production team based in either Penrose or Mangere Hours will depend on production requirements and which line and position you work but will be a minimum of 40 hours per week At Walter Wild we want our people to be flexible and highlyskilled To achieve this staff may need to change lines tasks with notice for production development and training purposes To be successful for this role you will Have at least 1 year experienced in food FMCG production manufacturing Reliable transport to get to work Good working mechanical aptitude and problem solving capability Understanding of food safety requirements and good personal hygiene Physically fit able to stand on your feet for the whole day and lift up to 25kg Able to problem solve and trouble shoot Able to work safely and identify hazards The Box Ticking Stuff Only applicants with the right to work in New Zealand will be considered for this role In line with Walter Wild policy all applicants must agree to preemployment drug testing and health assessments and need to pass
