    Ko tā mātou mahi - Our Role

    In this role, you'll provide contract support, reporting and advice to the Maintenance Commercial Contracts Manager (MCCM).

    You will advise of and seek continual improvement opportunities with the commercial relationships that exist between Kāinga Ora - Homes and Communities and external contracted parties, including, but not limited to our Maintenance Partners through our maintenance contract, Te Mahi Ngātahi (Maintenance 2020).

    Ngā pūmanawatanga ōu - What you will bring

  • Experience in an operational / delivery role, ideally in the commercial / financial management of contracts and / or financial or management accountancy background
  • Property maintenance management experience in a high volume environment
  • Knowledge of contract management processes
  • Proven sound commercial acumen with experience in understanding operational and financial reports
  • Experience working in a service delivery environment with customer focused approaches
  • Top notch negotiation skills
  • Strong communication skills with the proven ability to build and maintain working relationships
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, particularly the ability to communicate clearly, concisely and in plain language
  • Sound judgement, discretion and proven ability to work under pressure
  • Commercial and Contract Management (CCM) certification at Practitioner level (desirable)
  • IACCM (International Association for Contract and Commercial Management) (desirable)
