Passionate dog trainer / driver wanted for a successful Auckland dog walking company for an immediate start to get your new journey started with a full training handover.

We are looking for an exceptional team member who has experience around dogs to join our growing team as a Driver / Dog handler

This position will involve :

Picking up and dropping dogs home

Supervising the pack

Training and walking dogs

Cleaning and other duties as required

For this position, you will require :

Confidence with dogs of all sizes

To be calm while under pressure

Maturity and life experience

A common-sense approach

The ability to work unsupervised

Have plenty of initiative

Confidence using a mobile phone

Good verbal and communication skill

Must be reliable and punctual

Must be able to follow instructions

Passionate and motivated :

A full, clean NZ driver’s licence

Able to drive a Hiace van

To be a confident, efficient driver

To succeed in this position, you will need to be physically fit and a hardworking team player who is prepared to go the extra mile to get the job done well.

Hours are Monday to Thursday / Friday 7am to 2.30pm, 4-5 days, Approx. 30-37 hours per week. The starting rate is $23.50 with on the job training provided.

Experienced Dog Handler starting at $25.00

You MUST hold a clean full NZ drivers licence, with no convictions and be a NZ resident. No exceptions!
