    Customer Support Agent - CALLING ALL RETAIL SUPERSTARS!!

    And well, we’re hiring! We are looking for enthusiastic, hard-working, and tech-savvy individuals to join our Customer Support Team! In this role, you will be providing amazing service during every interaction a Vend customer has with the support team.

    A day in the life of a Customer Support Agent might look something like this :

  • You’ll feel like you’ve really made a difference to the lives of our retailers by helping them focus on their business.
  • You’ll be there to help them out when things aren’t going well and you’ll feel like a superhero for swooping in to save the day!

  • Working with the support team and other teams at Vend to make sure we are constantly providing a kick-ass experience for those having a problem with the product.
  • You appreciate that your individual contribution to the team’s targets is a valuable part of delivering on our company goals.
  • Does this sound like you?

  • You find it easy to shift your focus to react to changing situations.
  • Interpreting data and reporting results for an explanation to customers comes naturally to you. Retail is detail and you know that it’s important for the numbers to be right!
  • Additional points if you’ve worked in the retail industry and understand what a day in the life of a retailer is. You know what it's like on both sides of the fence and ultimately you understand customer's needs because you've served them before.
  • Your verbal and written communication skills are one of your strongest attributes. You can translate difficult technical terms and problems into relatable language for a wide range of people.
  • You are a total geek when it comes to tech and cloud-based software, so much so that learning how to use Vend will be a total breeze for you
  • Familiarity with using Windows and iOS software including iPads in order to install and troubleshoot problems with apps, browser extensions and hardware such as receipt printers will prove useful.
  • You can look beyond the issue at hand and see other ways to add value to your support interactions. Suggesting ways to use Vend to solve common retail problems allows you to show just how much you love helping create remarkable retail life.
  • Challenges are always an opportunity to learn. You’ve got a genuine growth mindset and as a result, you’re not afraid to take smart risks and make the odd mistake because you know you’ll be able to learn from them.
  • You’re the kind of person who knows what you’re great at and works hard to use your skills to help not just our retailers, but the rest of the team as well.
  • You get a real kick out of being part of a tight-knit team.

    We'll make sure you can succeed, with a strong emphasis on skills training as well as growth and development. It will be up to you to put your skills into practice and you’ll not hesitate to step up to try things outside your comfort zone in order to help our retailers.
