Account Management
Manage an assigned group of workplace savings clients through understanding their business and people strategies and act as conduit and face of Mercer to the client, providing visibility of Mercer within the client organisation.
Develop and execute an account plan for each client, manage the commercial aspects of relationships and maintain accurate client records e.
g. by regular and accurate billing, and through maintaining client contact details and opportunities within Mercer Force.
Partner with other Mercer teams and actively promote Mercer services and products to clients and their employees.
Business Development
Identify opportunities where Mercer or other MMC operating companies can provide value and solutions and introduce solutions and services that respond to the client’s needs and priorities.
Assist with the preparation of client proposal documents (and assist other MMC operating companies by providing relevant content).
Provide progress reports (as requested) on client proposals being prepared or under consideration.
Service delivery
Act as a trusted advisor for each client, delivering advice, solving client issues and bringing in specialists as necessary
Provide support to Mercer teams and colleagues, to ensure services and projects are coordinated across Mercer and delivered to meet client expectations.
Attend and contribute to client meetings as required.
Deliver client and customer presentations, facilitate discussions and respond to their enquiries
Ensure all clients are kept abreast of regulatory changes and other relevant developments.
What you need to have
Education
Relevant tertiary qualifications in finance, business or a related discipline is preferred.
Experience
Two to five years client relationship management experience, ideally in a financial services or related services organisation.
Knowledge & Skills
Knowledge of KiwiSaver, superannuation, employee benefits, funds management, insurance market and industry.
Well-developed communication, presentation and interpersonal skills oral and written.
Consulting and relationship management skills, at the individual and corporate level.
