Our client are a fourth-generation family business that has provided logistics services to New Zealander's manufacturers for nearly 100 years.

They believe what stands them apart is their commitment to safety, service and attention to detail and they are looking for a like-

minded Health and Safety Advisor to join their team.

The role already has existing processes in place but over time you will work with their People and Quality Manager to help improve and develop processes further.

Your daily role will include :

  • Coordination of ACC claims, paperwork and return to work
  • Coordination of incident reporting and feedback loop
  • Compliance across all sites
  • HR support as required
  • Coordination of inductions
  • Close working relationship with Driver Trainer to ensure that issues that are picked up in either area are addressed through training and the Worksafe and Wellbeing programme
  • Support supervisors in creating a strong culture around Worksafe and Wellbeing
  • Contribute to monthly and annual reporting for Worksafe and Wellbeing
  • The ideal candidate will come from a transport or warehousing background and will have at least 2 years' experience in a health and safety position.
