  • We are seeking a highly motivated Administration Officer to join our friendly team in Dunedin Hospital on a casual as and when required’ basis in our busy Rheumatology service.

    About The Role

    The Administration Officer’s key purpose is to effectively contribute to the smooth running of the service by providing an efficient and timely administrative support function that is responsive and flexible to the changing needs of the service.

    This role is in a high-volume, fast-paced service and includes booking and managing of patients, rostering clinicians, managing theatre lists, and so much more.

    You need to be an organised, unflappable person who is good with the public and able to solve problems quickly.

    Our valued casuals are essential within the DHB to provide cover for planned staff leave and unexpected absences, and for additional support in times of high volume and service demand.

    The salary for this position is based on the PSA Collective Employment agreement, South Island Administrative MECA, salary scale S3, currently $49,394 - $51,240 per annum (pro rata).

    Please note this collective agreement is currently under review.
