  • The Opportunity

    Our Christchurch team are looking to bring on board a new, sales-oriented Business Development Manager.

    As an expert in providing client service, you will look after and be responsible for driving new business across Christchurch.

    You will report into the Regional Manager and you will have the tools to enable you to perform at your best, being supported by those around you and contributing to the team’s overall success.

    You will also be responsible for :

  • Driving new business opportunities across Christchurch
  • Providing professional, accurate and efficient response to client needs through liaison directly with clients and underwriters
  • Facilitate key business and customer relationships management and negotiate potential business opportunities
  • Supporting our branch network with prospecting, marketing, quoting new opportunities.
  • Travelling to meet with clients
  • Achieving new business targets and KPI’s that are set for you
  • Reporting back to the Regional Manager and updating pipelines.
  • About you

    To be successful in this role, you should have a proven background in sales, client relationship management. You would have the ability to effectively engage with clients, assess their risk needs and convert them into business opportunities.

    You will also have :

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Competency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook
  • The ability to deliver high standards of quality client service in a dynamic fast paced environment
  • A valid NZ driving licence as travel between local branches is a necessity.
