    The Team : What wedo

    The West Adult Community MentalHealth Service is one of four city-based teams that provide an assessment and treatmentservice for consumers with mental illnesses aged between 18 65 years, andwork closely with their families / whanau - both in the community and alongsideinpatient services.

    The Role : Whereyou fit in

    We have one permanent, 0.8 FTEcommunity mental health nurse position available for an enthusiastic RegisteredNurse looking to work closely with consumers and their whanau.

    Under the West Community team,the case management position entails providing comprehensive psychiatricassessment, case management, and therapeutic interventions for our clients andtheir family / whanau.

    You will work as a multi-disciplinary team member, wherethere is a strong focus on returning clients to primary health care sector followingspecialist input.

    You will be experienced with managing and responding tocrises, and will work alongside the Crisis Resolution extension of the WestCommunity team.

    This position requires registerednurses with experience in mental health.

    Full Driver s license isessential.
