Loyalty New Zealand is New Zealand’s expert in loyalty, and runs the largest and most comprehensive coalition loyalty programme in New Zealand Fly Buys.
In addition to this Loyalty New Zealand undertakes a range of marketing services for clients including customer insights, analytics, modelling and reporting under its brand LAB360.
The Role The Development Chapter Lead is a new role at Loyalty leading the development team to deliver high quality, secure and maintainable software.
This is a leadership role, providing direction and guidance, as well as mentoring the team and working closely with our other Chapter Leads to deliver software as efficiently and effectively as possible.
In this role you’ll also be : Providing technical leadership Delivering software using agile processes Focusing on continuous improvement within the workplace You’ll be the ideal candidate if you can bring 5 years’ plus experience in a related field, with experience developing in Ruby on Rails.
You’ll also have experience : Working on projects in an agile environment Broad understanding of various coding methodologies Experience with cloud-based computing services (eg AWS) Experience writing unit / integration tests using testing frameworks You’ll show adaptability and be open to change.
You’ll be able to demonstrate your ability to deliver on deadlines and priorities (and leading teams to deliver), as well as put team goals first to ensure we’re working together to achieve our strategic goals.
Continuous learning is a key part of the role to ensure the team stay up to date and able to meet new challenges head on.
A long-term approach to your thinking when making decisions will be key. You will have a passion for excellence, and high standards keeping yourself professionally up-to-date and being excited by new challenges.
