Northcote, AucklandJob DescriptionThe Design team is critical to the success of our business strategy so we are looking for someone who is an exceptional creative talent, who can work in a dynamic environment with changing demands.

This is a rare and rewarding opportunity where you will see your design career come alive working with a team of exceptional graphic and fashion design experts where you will contribute to the development of the womenswear ranges for The Warehouse.

The retail world is changing and the need to be responsive is more important than ever when it comes to developing quality products, at the right price, that our customers love.

As a Designer, you will research, develop and design ranges that meet agreed targets whilst meeting the needs of our customers.

A snapshot of the role will see you : Research and apply market & trend information through design analytics.Trend forecasting key items, colours, fabrics, details and products for seasonal launches for womenswearDesign clothing from concept to sign-

off - interpreting briefs and creating presentations and artwork.Work alongside Lead Designer, Creative Director as well as the Buyers and sourcing teams to curate and build cohesive rangesDevelop and implement processes to ensure ranges are delivered on timeQualificationsAbout you : We work in a fast-

paced environment with tight deadlines so need someone with resilience and the ability to effectively manage pressure. You will be someone who enjoys a varied role, has strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills, as well as being a good team player with a can-

do attitude. You will have a creative eye for homewares, textiles and product design with the ability to translate these into ranges our customers love.

Must haves : A Tertiary qualification in Design.Minimum of four years’ experience in Design and Product Development processes, including taking product from concept through execution.

Proven ability to research and apply market and trend information.Demonstrated creative ability including colour, pattern, graphics and presentation layouts.

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite-Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator.Attention to detail and follow through.An enthusiasm for the role and the ability to share our vision to see our designs turn into great products in the store.
