We have an exciting opportunity for a Product Manager to join our cross-functional, collaborative Product Management team, based in Christchurch.
About the Role
Working closely with a team of Product Managers, you'll develop, manage and drive product strategies for the Tait branded Software as a Service and associated cloud based systems. You'll have direct ownership for a range of products, and will be responsible for proactively managing them to ensure strategic performance targets are met.
In this role, a focus on market outcome is key. You'll need to ensure the right decisions are made at the product level to support our solution offerings, as well as enabling market opportunities.
This is a broad and demanding role that will utilise all areas of your product management expertise, from price positioning and new product development, through to obsolescence management and customer issue resolution. You will be responsible for the financial contribution and the overall commercial success of the product. To be successful in this role, you will need proven experience managing P&L in a technology setting, with the accompanying depth of commercial and financial acumen.
Relevant experience previously managing the needs of markets and customers, and being responsible for producing product strategies, business cases and financial ROI models is valuable.
Understanding customer requirements is a core competency for this role. Business management or technology experience in a critical communications setting, and demonstrated ability to make change in a demanding environment, are also key.
