Key responsibilities
Develop and maintain new and existing Life Technology platforms.
Provide thought leadership and direction to Suncorp NZ’s Digital and Data Strategy.
Ensure a sound translation of business objectives into clear streams of work, aligning technology strategy with business strategy via projects, continual improvement and operational activity.
Manage the end-to-end (ideation through to operation) delivery of initiatives and operational support using best practice Change, Release, SDLC, and IT Service management.
Collaborate with business and technology teams across direct and intermediated brands to deliver quality experiences and value to end customers.
Manage and motivate multi-platform, virtual teams formed from multiple areas, developing and coaching leaders and team members.
Work with stakeholders to ensure cost effective and timely solutions and operations are delivered within Suncorp New Zealand portfolio and operational constraints.
To be successful in this role, you will bring :
5+ years leading large teams through periods of change
Previous experience managing projects and programs of work
Previous experience of IT operations and application ownership
Experience in leading the delivery and support of both legacy and modern software platforms
Thorough knowledge of software delivery and project management methodologies, processes and tools
Proven capability in contributing to the strategic direction of a department
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
