About the role : You will be working within the Centre of Engineering team who serve as the Design Authority for the Maritime Engineering Support Team (MEST) serving the Royal New Zealand Navy (RNZN).
The outputs of the Centre of Engineering provide the overall authority for design, guidance, advice and marine engineering operational support to meet the needs of our customers.
You will be required to work in an office based environment and provide; Provide programme management governance function across all Centre of Engineering workstreams Provide resource management and scheduling of all engineering tasks Manage the Centre of Engineering portfolio ensuring the management of risk alongside the assurance of quality outputs Manage and report upon departmental budget and schedule Develop and manage process to support Centre of Engineering governance of programme management About You : We are looking for an experienced Programme Manager preferably with experience in the marine engineering environment.
You will be able to demonstrate some of the following types of skillsets and experience : Demonstrated success in delivering programme management preferably within an engineering industry.
Experience in the use of Enterprise Resource Planning tool and resource, project management Demonstrated the ability to cultivate continuous improvement.
Six Sigma Experience in the creation of business unit process, procedures and strategies Ability to manage multiple deliverables and cope with pressure and ambiguity.
Good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to assess stakeholders and engage at appropriate levels to achieve desired outcomes What's in for you?
