Our client is an independent, not-for-profit organisation that applies dispute resolution methods to resolve complaints companies are unable to resolve with their customers.
They are one of the most long-standing respected consumer dispute resolution organisations in Aotearoa.
Their people and Board have a strong sense of purpose - they also have passion and excitement for the work they do. They are driven to improve wellbeing outcomes for the communities they serve, including the public, their partners, and providers.
The main purpose of your role will be to support the organisation as they align themselves with the values of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and The Treaty of Waitangi.
You will be instrumental in assisting them to develop their ability to offer tikanga-based dispute resolution and ensure Māori interests are promoted and represented in all the work they do.
This is a part-time role (approximately one day per week) designed to offer a great work-life balance. It may be suited to someone who performs a similar role for other organisations.
If you’re excited by the opportunity to join their whānau and take up this pivotal role where you will improve wellbeing outcomes for the communities they serve, as well as achieve great outcomes for tamariki and rangatahi Māori, we would love to hear from you.
