Xero’s Product Content Strategists care deeply about language, the communication of ideas, and the way information comes together.
They think systemically and can readily see patterns (or the lack of them). Working closely with Product Designers, Product Content Strategists help craft straightforward and meaningful content within Xero’s suite of online software.
By combining research and problem-solving with UX writing, they help distil complex information and processes into simple, elegant experiences.
About The RoleYou’ll join a small group of Content Strategists that sit inside the Design Research team. At Xero, content strategy and user research are integrated and inter-related.
You’ll contribute to wording throughout product development, from process flows to wireframes, prototypes and production.
Day to day you will collaborate with Product Designers and others to establish and maintain a consistent, authentic voice across products, driving intentional communication with every word.
You’ll create and maintain style guidelines that outline the Xero voice, tone and register, as well as the structure, formatting, and punctuation of content within Xero products.
You will also contribute to user research projects (particularly those with a content focus) alongside colleagues in the Design team and other areas of the business.
