The Opportunity

Based in our clients vibrant, modern office in Tauranga this would suit a Civil / Environmental Engineer who is interested in working on high end water / wastewater projects through the whole project lifecycle including tenders, construction contracts, design for treatment plants pipelines and municipal and industrial water / wastewater through to site supervision and investigations.

This role will provide you with responsibility from day one together with support from a team of over 30+ Water / wastewater engineers.

About You

You will likely hold a degree in Civil or Environmental engineering with around 2 6 years postgraduate experience in :

Design of wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, pipelines and land disposal systems for industrial and municipal water or wastewater projects.

Civil works design.

Supervision of investigation and construction of works.

Management of construction contracts including tender preparation, contractor evaluation, budget management, invoice reconciliation and works certification.

Managing projects by co-ordinating subcontractors and liaising with regulators and client contacts.

Design of water and stormwater treatment systems, pump stations, pipelines and irrigation infrastructure.

Writing reports on technical work.
