The Senior Developer provides software development services in support of the National Digital Heritage Archive (NDHA) digital preservation programme.
This programme supports the development and accessibility of digital collections within the National Library and is responsible for their long-term safekeeping.
You will engage in all aspects of the development of the entire suite of NDHA applications. This includes application design, programming, enhancement and bug-
fixing, testing, maintenance in a Git code repository and documentation.
As a Senior Developer, you will mentor less experienced Developers, lead development workstream activities, and will be involved with steering the best practices and approaches adopted by the team.
You will coordinate with the department’s Technology Services & Solutions (TSS) group to ensure that the PRC’s development practices, standards and security measures are consistent with the department’s.

Preservation Research and Consultancy sits within the Information and Knowledge Services branch, the Department’s centre of information management, culture and heritage.
