Mō te tūnga About the rolesMental Health Nurses work as part of the Intervention and Support Practice Team which consists of clinical specialists whom deliver mental health services to those most vulnerable people in our care.
Working within a multi-disciplinary approach to care and well-being, your role as a Mental Health Nurse is to provide health services which enhance mental health care for tāne in our management.
Effective clinical caseload management will include triage, assessment and evidence informed treatments that are aligned to best practice mental health service provision, as well as overall promoting the delivery of holistic and recovery-oriented health services across the prison environment.
