Job detailsJob TypeFull-timePermanentFull Job DescriptionVery competitive remuneration and bonus package Career development and progression is available for the right candidate About the role At Metlifecare the Operations Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of their portfolio providing commercially focused leadership to achieve business and financial objectives.

Some of the meaningful things you will be responsible for : Ensuring Metlifecare villages and care homes operate profitably, efficiently, and effectively whilst meeting all resident and regulatory obligations under agreements, standards, and objectives Drive the build, development, coaching and retention of a high performing team to meet key business objectives including financial performance, resident and employee satisfaction and other agreed organisational outcomes Responsible for leading the operationalisation of key objectives and projects related to our growth plans Act as the Voice of the customer / Voice of Operations in projects / programmes requiring operational input Driving our Net Promoter Score improvement plans across both Employees and Residents Managing change impacts particularly as it relates to residents e.

g. (introduction of new services, development related works etc Building strong and collaborative relationships across key stakeholder groups including clinical, sales, development to maximise business / financial objectives.

The North Auckland region looks after 7 bespoke Villages from Glenfield over the bridge on the north Shore right up to our Oakridge Villas village in Kerikeri, Northland.

About you You will need to be able to be involved hands on in this role- to know your villages and your people. Operational experience within a large organisation is crucial as you will be driving your regions success and dealing with challenges and obstacles, trouble shooting and bringing in the right internal / externals stakeholders to the table.

These are the key are looking for : Strong operational management role in a "people" business with a high preference for experience in the retirement and aged care Industry, health or within building and construction Versatile leadership skills and exposure with a wealth of experience working with a range of different teams, customers, and partners.

This will help you as well as your history of delivery of customer experience and business process improvements Strong business and financial acumen with the ability to manage financial performance e.

g. P&L, cost centre ownership The ability to sought customer feedback and maximize customer satisfaction through Insights and strategic planning that contributes to the big Metlifecare picture External supplier management across a variety of categories such as gardening, Food and Beverage, deliveries, couriers, electricians, plumbers, security etc.
