As one of our Capability Development Specialists , you'll join our awesome People & Culture Team and report to the Transformation Change Manager.

Your primary role in this rapidly evolving environment is to get alongside people, understand their needs and collaborate to deliver quality solutions.

You'll influence and implement the capability development and change strategies required to effectively support the organisation to achieve its strategic objectives.

You'll design, develop and deliver solutions that meet organisational requirements and support our vision, culture and values.

You'll work with stakeholders to identify development needs and establish programmes and services to meet those needs.

This is a time of exciting transformational change at MercyAscot and as an organisation we're already engaged - but we need your agile approach, teaching skills, and experience to develop our capability through both change management and learning and development.

To succeed this role you'll need :

  • To be a fast learner, a good teacher, and an amazing communicator
  • To have a post-graduate qualification in Adult Education / Learning or Change management (or significant equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years' experience in a role responsible for building organisational capability for staff with a strong customer-centric process
  • Experience in designing and delivering change through communications and learning content to employees at all organisational levels
  • Programme experience with a capability build focus (learning and development, change)
  • Facilitation experience
  • To be able to design and deliver learning courses in our Learning Management System (including content creation, testing, communicating, reporting, and evaluation)
  • To be able to create and distribute compelling and succinct communications to all employees about upcoming change and learning opportunities
  • The ability to work with external providers and partners to design and deliver programmes where in-house expertise is not available
