As our business continues to grow, we are looking for a Leader of the Planning and Advisory Team to join our Infrastructure Advisory Services.

Reporting to the Group Leader, we are looking for an inspirational leader to take this team of professionals to new heights.

You will be working with an innovative organisation, which encourages professional freedom, provides opportunities to work with a great spectrum of clients on landmark projects and facilitates multidisciplinary approach to project delivery, including access to skilled professional network around the globe.

Key expectations of the role :

  • Develop and maintain a clear vision of the planning and advisory business the projects we plan to win and the people we plan to hire.
  • Drive the commercial performance of the team, ensuring that the team is engaged through client pursuits or connecting back to the region and global.
  • Provide overall leadership of the planning and advisory team, driving team engagement, support, and development.
  • Ensure a rigorous succession planning approach is taken and that the capability of the team continues to grow.
  • Lead the delivery of key projects ensuring the quality production of deliverables to agreed timelines and within agreed budgets.
  • About you and your profile for success :

  • Recognised relevant tertiary qualifications in Economics, Ubran Planning, Urban Design, Master Planning or similar.
  • Relevant industry experience within a consulting business environment.
  • Membership of relevant professional institutions / professional peer bodies or significant credit towards eligibility for membership.
  • Proven working knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, codes of practice, and guidelines.
  • Ability to communicate with people at all levels in both technical and non-technical environments.
  • Effective written communication and report writing skills.
  • Ability to remain positively motivated and foster team spirit at times of significant pressure, including assisting others to meet deadlines.
  • Desire to excel.
