    Being community owned, they aim to provide secure, reliable electricity supply to South Canterbury communities. The company's distribution network consists of 4,300 km of lines, supplying electricity to approximately 33,000 customers.

    Not only is energy distribution in South Canterbury experiencing unprecedented growth but the emergence of renewable technologies has given rise to endless possibilities for Alpine Energy.

    The role

    Reporting to the CFO, you will enhance the organisation’s productivity and effectiveness whilst providing executive support to the CEO, Board of Directors, and wider Senior Leadership team.

    Duties will vary but the basis of the role is a senior executive assistant. Experience in supporting an Executive leadership team including diary management and coordination, office management, accounts administration, and Board liaison.

    Your skills and experience

    Intelligent decision making as well as your ability to build key internal and external relationships will be critical to your ongoing success in this role, as will demonstration of your ability to problem solve and deal with complex situations.

    You will relish the challenge associated with working within a dynamic and forward-thinking team. Professionalism and passion are essential as is your previous experience at a senior level.

    Additionally, you will have broad IT skills and solid MS Office capability as well as exceptional communication skills and attention to detail.

    Experience in a similar role will be essential.
