He Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the Role

The security service is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for staff, patients and visitors.

We are seeking permanent full-time Security Officers to join our tight knit and highly regarded security team at Whakatāne Hospital.

Hours to be worked for these positions are 40 hours per week.

He Korero mōu - About You

  • Security experience
  • Customer service experience
  • High level of personal presentation
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • A genuine desire to help people and work in a hospital setting
  • Able to pass a Health and Police check
  • Hold a clean and full NZ driver's license
  • Able to make sound decisions when under pressure
  • Commitment to work rostered shifts (i.e. day, afternoon and night)
  • Work as part of a team
  • Physically fit
