As a Senior Associate with a primary focus on Leveraged & Acquisition Finance and Project Finance, you will support the Directors on all aspects of these transactions (i.
e. identification, origination, evaluation, structuring and execution) and play a support role within deal teams (i.e. due diligence, credit papers and documentation), as well as helping with the management of a portfolio of existing assets.
Key accountabilities include :
Working as part of a high achieving team focused on end-to-end delivery of transactions. Drafting Terms Sheets, Discussion Papers and presentations for internal and external use
Assisting with the management and monitoring of assets within the Corporate Finance portfolio
Providing analysis on the most efficient use of the Bank's capital
Developing a sound working relationship with peers & other professionals, both internally and externally
supporting and assist bankers within the BNZ Institutional Banking and Partners segments
Ō Pūkenga About You
To be successful in this role, you'll have good credit writing and modelling experience within Corporate Finance or Corporate and Institutional Banking.
You'll also :
Assist with the structuring and execution of complex transactions
Have strong attention to detail, time management skills and capability to effectively manage competing priorities
Have excellent, interpersonal and communication skills to create a successful team culture
Have the ability to influence to build and maintain relationships, both internally and externally
