Senior Ruby / Rails Developer

Our client is a global SaaS company headquartered in Melbourne, Australia. They connect over 20,000 businesses with buyers across 11 countries and are an established leader in their sector.
They've just completed their series A funding and are scaling fast.
They are looking for open, friendly developers who are good at collaborating with others to solve problems, are passionate about new tech and ideas, and have strong backend coding skills.
Responsibilities and Duties :
Design and Implement software solutions across multiple platforms
Produce high-quality code with excellent test coverage
Code reviews and Efficient and effective code maintenance
Analyse product requirements and break them down into user stories and tasks
Estimate and plan to assist with the development of the product roadmap
Mentor junior software developers
Develop, build, test, and deployment automation
Research and development of potential new technologies
Define processes and standards within the team and contribute to the continuous improvement of the product development process
Ideally, you'll have some of the following skills / experience :
Degree in a computer-related field
A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position
Strong Ruby on Rails experience
MySQL, React / ES6+, Elasticsearch, AWS, Docker, and Ubuntu Linux
Be familiar with unit, integration and / or functional automated testing
