Weare looking for permanent full time Ophthalmic Technician to join ourbusy outpatient facility in South Auckland.

Inthis position you will be responsible for conducting visual functionevaluations of patients, in coordination with the Consultants, with a goal ofproviding accurate, efficient and a high standard optometric and otherophthalmic assessments.

Tasks will be as agreed with the Service Manager, Headof Ophthalmology Department, Allied Health Coordinator for Ophthalmology andClinical Nurse Manager.

Weare looking for highly motivated team members who are willing to undertaketraining and learn new skills, be able to work well within a culturally diverseenvironment and have good computer, administrative and time management skills.

Essential

  • One year clinical experience in Ophthalmology
  • Related Health Qualification and experience
  • note - Auckland has aregional strategy to provide Ophthalmology services in conjunction withAuckland and Waitemata DHBs, and as part of providing this service thesuccessful candidate may also be required to work at sites other than CMHealth, including Greenlane Clinical Centre and / or Waitemata Hospital.
