About the opportunity
Transpower has invested in modernising its approach to Office 365 governance and operations. Based on the established principles, the Platform Specialist role has been re-defined to focus mainly on Office 365 with more of a proactive paradigm, including architectural responsibilities, rather than purely incident and request management.
As well as providing specialist L3 support and being the point of escalation for the Office 365 System Specialist, the Platform Specialist delivers new features and enhancements through continuous service improvement.
This role contributes to the planning, prioritisation and design of Office 365 services, governance and support processes, representing a holistic platform-wide technical view.
There'll be a lot to keep you busy and challenged over the next 18 months, including embedding the new Operating Model, evolving Office 365 services, contributing to a clear Roadmap for Office 365 and ensuring that incidents and service requests are well managed.
Based in Wellington ('the Coolest Little Capital in the World') you will interact with a wide variety of audiences across Transpower, therefore a customer-centric approach coupled with strong written and verbal communication skills to convey complex technical concepts simply, is essential.
