About the Role
The South Marlborough District team is seeking a highly motivated and organised person to oversee the work programme for the Biodiversity Team.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the planning, prioritising and reporting for biodiversity work programmes as well as managing the associated budgets.
As part of the District Leadership Team, you will work with leaders to plan the District's priorities. You will work closely with the Biodiversity Supervisor, who is responsible for the day to day tasking of the District's biodiversity staff.
Our biodiversity team is responsible for a range of crucial functions including threatened species management, ecosystem restoration and animal / plant pest control programmes.
You will be responsible for managing external stakeholder relationships and partner with iwi, hapū and whanau. You will primarily be office based, with the opportunity to work with the field team on occasion.
