EnviroNZ encompasses EnviroWaste, ChemWaste and EnviroWay as one of New Zealand's largest, most successful and innovative waste services providers.

We require an experienced Machine Operator to join our Transfer Station team based in Onehunga. In this varied role, you will be responsible for operating plant and machinery (loaders and excavators) in order to move, compact and sort refuse in a safe and efficient manner.

You will work as part of a close-knit team to ensure customer service, and a clean site at all times.

Working at one of our many transfer stations, our goal is to sort and manage all materials, and to recycle as much as possible.

To be successful, you will have :

oPrevious Machine operating experience

oClass 2 licence with W,T,F endorsements

oHave working knowledge and understanding of Health & Safety, and the importance of

oBe Supportive and Respectful

All new Operators will be given a full training & induction into our company and our fleet of vehicles and plant.

EnviroNZ services all community needs; from the collection and disposal of waste & recycling, through to recovery, remediation and treatment.

In doing so, we are committed to promoting sustainable processes, resource recovery and waste minimisation.

The successful applicant will be required to undertake a Pre-Employment Health Assessment (including drugs test) and complete a Ministry of Justice criminal records check, the results of which must be to EnviroNZ's satisfaction.

Applicants must also have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
