  • Great opportunity to gain more hands on experience by working for the only 'Big 4' in the Bay of Plenty.
  • Be Exceptional :

  • Prepare annual accounts and tax returns, generally with a focus on larger or more complex clients
  • Prepare cash flows, budgets, forecasts for clients as required
  • Undertake special projects and one-off assignments as required
  • On occasion, install computerised accounting packages at client sites and provide user training
  • Analyse and contribute to the resolution of complex accounting and tax issues
  • Identify value-added opportunities for clients, e.g. business improvement strategies, process / systems improvements
  • Assist managers and partners / associates in pro-actively managing client relationships
  • Be KPMG :

  • At least three years' experience within a New Zealand Chartered Accounting environment
  • Competent and literate with the following packages : Microsoft Word, Excel, and computerised accounting systems
  • Demonstrated high-level technical skills and knowledge
  • Experienced in reviewing work of more junior staff
  • Strong focus on building relationships with colleagues and clients
