About the Team
The Infection Prevention and Control Service (IPC) exists to monitor and reduce the risk of Hospital acquired infections across the Southern District.
Our team consists of 8 Clinical Nurse Specialists and 1 Charge Nurse Manager across the District and we are proud of our supportive and collaborative environment.
Reporting into the Charge Nurse Manager for District Infection Prevention & Control, you will be responsible for providing an effective and efficient administration service.
We’re looking for someone with :
Your background will ideally be in varied administration positions that demonstrate your ability to efficiently prioritise work load in a logical manner.
Some of the key administrative tasks within this role will include (but are not limited to) :
To be successful in the role you will need to have an eye for detail and have a mature approach to your work. As part of the role you will also liaise with Management Assistants.
Experience in a similar role would be preferred but we will provide full systems training to the successful candidate.
The salary for this position is in line with the DHBs / PSA South Island Administrative Multi-Employer Collective Agreement (S4) and will be between $52,080 and $59,759 per annum based on skills and experience.
