We have an exciting full time opportunity for an experienced RN who has a solid understanding of thrombotic conditions and preferably haematology to join our team.

In this senior position you will provide clinical review and management of patients with thrombotic conditions, together with the multidisciplinary team, to ensure appropriate, safe and timely care is received by the patient.

In addition to this you will also provide support, clinical guidance and advice to other healthcare professionals e.g. nursing and medical colleagues, relating to the complex needs of patients, and their families / whaanau with thrombotic conditions.

You will also contribute to the service delivery and development of the Thrombosis Service as part of the Counties Manukau Health Haematology team by ensuring patients receive seamless care between inpatient and outpatient services and are fully informed of available support services.

The person appointed to this role will need to demonstrate the ability to contribute their advanced leadership skills and be part of the multidisciplinary team to improve and develop the service.

  • Registered Nurse with New Zealand Nursing Council
  • At least 5 years post registration experience in a relevant clinical environment
  • Relevant Postgraduate qualification
  • Current Practicing Certificate
