Be part of our dynamic and vibrant community! Whirinaki is a community based Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) for Counties Manukau Health.

We are a multidisciplinary service providing onsite clinics and interventions within our community, covering a diverse population across South Auckland.

We are seeking to appoint a full time, permanent Clinical Psychologist to join our Interagency Behavioural team, which is a joint venture with the Ministry of Education.

In this position, you will provide and coordinate a consultation and liaison service in partnership with the Ministry of Education.

The children are between 3 to 8 years of age and present conduct and behavioural problems. You will also provide Mental Health Assessments and treatment recommendations for children and their families / whānau to the Interagency Behavioural Team.

The successful candidate will be largely based at our CAMHS office, having close links with the Ministry of Education at their site in Botany.

  • Current Annual Practising Certificate with the NZPB
