The role

Our Auckland Manufacturing site is key to our current success and our future plans, which is why we need a strong Maintenance Manager to join our Engineering Team & lead all decisions and aspects of the maintenance of our 24 / 5 operation.

You will provide leadership and direction to the Maintenance team including clarifying, coaching, & mentoring and consequently celebrate success.

You will support, engage and inspire the team to be their best.

You will work closely with the Head of Engineering, the Maintenance and Utilities Team Leaders to ensure installation & commissioning activities and preventative and corrective maintenance are carried out in compliance with cGMP, Good Engineering Practice and cognisant of any & all applicable standards & regulations.

You will support and assist the business on all things relating to our equipment including capability, reliability, operability, efficiency, effectiveness and best practice.

You will lead aspects of asset management, including maintaining the asset register, maintenance strategies, tracking, verification, investigations and planning and scheduling.

You will work in close partnership with Production, Facilities, IT, external suppliers and contractors to achieve business outcomes.

You will be / have

  • An ENGINEERING GURU - you will know a lot about how an engineering function operates in a manufacturing facility, that is a given.
  • You will have truckloads of experience to draw on, you have worked in a clean cGMP, highly regulated industry. We are about quality; you will be too.

  • A PEOPLE LEADER - you know what it takes to motivate and lead a diverse group of talented and driven individuals. You will be able to connect in an authentic and meaningful way that impacts and drives results.
  • A TECHNICAL specialist - you have used SAP PM, CMMS or something similar and are comfortable in that space.
  • COMMERCIAL & FINANCIAL ACUMEN - you have experience managing budgets, projects and costs.
  • A CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT mindset - you have experience in innovation practices, identifying improvements and can see where and how to improve.
  • You are solutions focused, you are an Engineer, it's what you do. You will also bring new ideas to the table, to improve and drive new innovative solutions and experiences.

  • A COLLABORATOR - you will be an expert in building relationships, internally and externally, working with people, influencing them and valuing their expertise.
