The mental health and addictions service deliver avariety of services across the Waikato region. We are a service undertaking ahuge programme of change to deliver better outcomes to tāngata whai ora andwhānau in our region.

Nga iwi Ngakaunui - people at the heart is demonstratedbest in mental health and addictions, people really are at the heart of allthat we do.

We know how important strong relationships are; with people whoaccess our services, with their whānau and with the communities we serve.

With service users / tangata whaiorabased both locally and rurally, this role provides an exciting opportunity towork closely with the communities in which people live and supportbetter outcomes.

Our area runs fromthe central north Hamilton out to Huntly and Ngaruawhia and the other side out to Morrinsville area.

The multidisciplinary team is astrong, collaborative team that is based in Hamilton, working Monday to Friday.

  • theability to be service user / tangata whaiora focussed, innovative and workeffectively in a multidisciplinary team as well as autonomously
  • well-developedtime management skills with the ability to coordinate and prioritise personaland team tasks
  • experiencewithin the mental health field
  • theability to coordinate care and provide therapeutic interventions
  • acurrent full driver’s license
  • acurrent annual practicing certificate.
