We are working on behalf of our client, a boutique legal firm based in Auckland CBD on an exciting opportunity for an experienced Personal Assistant to join the patents and designs support team.

  • The role;
  • Preparing patent specifications, forms and instructions for filing New Zealand and foreign applications
  • Preparing design applications and forms and preparing and filing applications in New Zealand and overseas
  • Preparing basic correspondence regarding reminders, formalities, changes, etc
  • Maintaining and preparing client schedules and watching services
  • Interfacing with clients, as required
  • Conducting online database searches
  • Record management and file database maintenance including maintaining a diary system and managing file bring ups
  • Assisting with travel arrangements
  • Assisting with the preparation of marketing materials, mail outs and functions
  • Assisting with the Trade Mark team, as required
  • General office administration and adhoc reception duties
  • The person;
  • 3 years+ experience working in a Patent attorney firm
  • Month end billing experience
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Confidence with a good sense of humour
