Ko tā mātou mahi - Our Role We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Developer (Mobility) to join our Wellington based practice.
In this role you will be responsible for the effective development and delivery of systems and applications to meet Kāinga Ora's current and future business needs.
These activities include development, maintenance and support for changes and enhancements. As a senior member of the team you will demonstrate leadership by actively coaching and mentoring other team members.
To be successful in this role, you will have :
Experience working with Jquery mobile, Handlebars js, bootstrap framework
Proven development skills with Typescript
Experience building reusable UI Components or libraries - ideally using Storybook
Understanding of Relational / NoSQL Databases-Experience with Git-Mindset to take up project individually.
Good understanding and experience of Node.js, NPM / Yarn, shell scripting
Use of testing frameworks - Jest, Enzyme, Jasmine, Gherkin, cucumber.js
Familiar with Apple App Store Connect, Test Flight
Familiarity with front-end build tools and task runners - node.js scripts, grunt / gulp, webpack, metro etc
Experience designing user interfaces Ngā pūmanawatanga ōu - What you will bring
Tertiary qualified in computer science or equivalent
5+ years working with HTML & CSS with a sound understanding of mobile app UI
5+ years commercial experience working on Mobile apps (hybrid desirable)
Phone Gap / Cordova CLI skills
Expertise with iOS & Android development tools (Xcode & Android Studio / Eclipse) to produce compiled & signed app products for store deployments
Use of Subversion (SVN) and worked in continuous integration workflows
SQL language skills - (SQLite Phone Gap plugin + other SQLs)
Worked on multiple commercial / enterprise mobile apps
