The ideal candidate is someone who is practical and aspires to meet the highest standards in the food industry. This individual will be looking for an opportunity to continue developing a broadbase of engineering expertise including hydraulics, pneumatics, fabrication, electrical & control and building services.
No two days will be the same on this role, where the individual candidate will be : Coordinating and leading a group of fiitters sparkies and a factory hand.
Dealing with suppliers.Maintaining and updating the CMMS.Liaising with contractors.Management and maintenance of spare parts.
Project Improvement and security.Managing Building Services.Assisting in organizing, planning and managing maintenance shutdowns.
Mechanical engineering qualification or related background.Experience with CMMS system, preventative maintenance management, CAD, practical problem solving skills and ability to think laterally.
Experience leading a team.Can-do attitude, willing to do what is required when is required.Ability to minimize production downtime.
Ability to prioritize and cope with heavy workloads.Experience delegating responsabilities on high pressure projects in tight deadlines.
