    We have a unique opportunity available for a Business Consultant to join our Support team here in Auckland! In this role you will be providing business analysis, documentation and training for our support clients.

    You will act as the pivot between Foster Moore and our customers to ensure that solutions for business / user requirements are documented and appropriate quality processes are implemented to achieve this.

    In addition, this role will provide support for some of Foster Moore's business systems and focus on process improvement across the teams.

    As a client facing role, your customer service skills and communication skills must be outstanding, as is your confidence in delivery of presentations and training.

    We are looking for :

  • At least 3 years experience in an Information Technology Business.
  • A tertiary level qualification in computer science, engineering or other appropriate discipline.
  • Knowledge of programming, system design, IT infrastructure and database concepts.
  • Ability to analyse, isolate and interpret business needs and develop appropriate technical solutions.
  • An understanding of all aspects of the systems / software development lifecycle.
  • Demonstrated technical specification writing / documentation skills.
  • Ability to converse with both end-users and IT employees at all levels of the organisation.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • MS Office Suite knowledge.
  • Ability to understand and empathise with customer concerns / issues remaining and remain committed to providing quality results.
  • Experience working with JIRA will be beneficial but not a dealbreaker if you don't.
  • You must be flexible and adaptable.
  • You must be resilient by nature and be comfortable working both within a team and autonomously.
  • You must be okay working with clients in different time zones and being available outside of working hours if the need arises.
