    The Paediatric Fellow in Pain Medicine position at Starship Children’s Hospital, is available for the 2022 year, for up to 12 months commencing 1st of February 2022.

    This role is suitable for candidates working towards FPM-ANZCA, but consideration will be given to applicants developing an interest in Pain Medicine, as part of their base speciality including but not limited to Paediatric Medicine, Anaesthesia, and Psychiatry.

    In this role, you will advocate for, and manage acute, persistent, procedural and cancer pain in children and adolescents.

    There is an expectation that the Fellow will be involved in audit and other departmental activities. On-Call duties will vary depending on the candidate and the base specialty they belong to.

    Job sharing and flexible working arrangements for these positions are negotiable. As part of the application, applicants should advise what base specialty they belong to and their on-call requirements in their specialty.

    You should be either nearing the end of your training, or ideally, have recently completed a formal training programme, but seeking additional structured training in Paediatric Pain Medicine.
