Our client who is based in the heart of Christchurch CBD is looking for a Human Resource specialist with experience across general HR and Organisational Development Advisory to join their team immediately on a contract through to August 2021.
Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, you will be a key member of the HR team. Initially your primary responsibility will be to provide Senior HR Advisory cover for the Corporate Services portfolio.
You will ensure that you implement and maintain exceptional stakeholder engagement with partners by providing HR support for the life-time employee cycle.
You will provide a full range of generalist operational services and will provide advice and support to Managers and staff in all areas of Human Resources.
This will include training, performance management, recruitment, health and safety, remuneration and employment relations to enhance the working environment and organisational performance.
You will also provide cover for the OD Advisor which will include coordinating all Organisational Development responsibilities including the annual staff survey.
Your Skills and Experience
Ideally you will possess outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to develop relationships at all levels of the business.
Previous Human Resources advisory experience is essential, and preference will be given if you can demonstrate a track record in supporting Managers to effectively deploy Human Resources and OD initiatives.
Experience in design and delivery in the OD area is also essential. Sound decision making skills and a resilient approach to new challenges will ensure the success of this role.
