Aquafortus is an emerging technology company poised to disrupt the industry and is at the forefront of research, development, and deployment of high recovery industrial water remediation technologies.

We are currently seeking a Legal Review Analyst to join our team. We are a fast-moving and growing company and we need a dynamic person to match.

This is a pivotal role working with the Executive team on legal and compliance documentation, interfacing with Aquafortus' company lawyers, as well as working within the Commercial team in negotiating and advising on agreements.

As such, this job can be extremely varied. The Legal Review Analyst will be reporting both to the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Executive Officer.

This is primarily an office-based role, based out of our Airport Oaks facility, with the primary responsibility of reviewing documents, including legal and compliance documents and agreements and potentially drafting if necessary.

This can be a full-time or part-time position depending on you.

The Legal Review Analyst will collaborate and support the executive and commercial teams to advance the company's technological and commercial success.

  • A University degree in law
  • At least 3 years working experience in a legal field (preferably commercial or IP law)
  • Experience in reviewing legal documents and agreements
  • Experience working with or liaising with lawyers
  • Some experience in legal drafting
  • Understanding of commercial contracts, NDAs, and intellectual property
  • Proficient Microsoft Office suite skills
  • Proficient and fluent English written and oral communication skills
  • Proven ability to work independently to a high productive level

  • Drafting, reviewing, and amending legal documents and agreements including preferred supplier contracts, licenses, MOUs, shareholder documents, etc.
  • Reviewing, amending, and updating compliance and company documents
  • Contract negotiations with commercial parties and their legal representatives
  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating NDAs
  • ESOP documentation and maintenance
  • Maintaining and management of document records, agreements, and company documents
  • Interfacing with Aquafortus' company lawyers
  • Taking and maintaining the board of directors meeting minutes
