Wairarapa regionGreat team environmentStable position with a great employer 40 hours a week. What we’re looking forWe are recruiting a motivated and experienced Excavator Plant Operator to work on the Ruamahanga Roads Maintenance Contract and help deliver the good work we’re known for.

You will be operating a 5-12T excavator and carrying out tasks such as general earthworks and drain laying.This collaborative style contract between South Wairarapa District Council, Carterton District Council and Fulton Hogan is setting a new standard for how business is done.

You will be based in the Wairarapa region, known for its lifestyle that few areas can offer. Along with its excellent schools and affordable housing, the Wairarapa is a recreational paradise for boating, tramping, hunting, fishing and golfing.

Get the best of both worlds with relaxing country living that is within an hour of two main cities.What we need from you Minimum 5 years’ experience with Plant Operation.

Drainage excavation would be advantageous.Class 2 license as a minimum. WTR, TC or STMS experience an advantage.Strong work ethic and positive attitude towards maintaining a safe working environment.
