To support this, our Treasury team within Financial Services is committed to managing the banks liquidity and balance sheet effectively and efficiently within our risk appetite.
The roleThis newly created role is responsible for managing securitisation portfolios, as well as supporting the effective and efficient management of daily liquidity and funding for the balance sheet.
Responsibilities of this varied role include but are not limited to;Managing the Operationalisation and compliance of the bank's securitisation programmes.
This includes managing Trust obligations with respect to issuing funding, asset management and trust obligations and compliance.
Provide analysis and timely creation of performance data to the Trustee, regulators and other third parties where required.
Ensure liquidity and funding is efficiently managed for ASB and CBA-NZ by accurately forecasting balance liquidity and funding ratios.
Manage cash positions ensuring appropriate liquidity and participate in benchmark pricing activities in accordance with Bank and market protocols.
Assisting and developing balance sheet related tools and analysis within model guidelines, adding value and contributing to process improvements for the bank.
What you will bringThis position will suit a passionate and highly motivated team player with strong analytical ability (Excel, VBA, SQL) and data mining skills.
An ability to precisely analyse and interpret data along with a wide range of economic and market insights is valued. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to enable effective price negotiation and support key decision making is important.
Exposure to global financial markets, treasury function and securitisation management is advantageous, but attitude, relevant qualifications and transferable skills will be considered.
