We do this by helping people lead crime-free lives, which means fewer victims and safer communities.The Adviser Operational Performance is responsible for assisting the Manager Operational Performance to provide expert advice, guidance and support to frontline managers and their teams, in relation to operational matters across the region.

You will maintain a high level understanding of operational practice across the whole of corrections services. Working across prison and community sites, you will focus on the provision of a high quality, reliable and consistent day to day quality assurance and business improvement service to the region.

Participation in regular operational audits, provide secondary assurance and monitor implementation of any required changes within regional sites is a key part of the role.

You will bring with you experience in risk management frameworks and methodologies, knowledge and ability in audit review and investigation techniques and significant expertise with implementing and managing sound quality, best practice or business improvement processes.

This opportunity provides the chance for you to showcase your problem solving ability in a role requiring high levels of communication and relationship management.

A tertiary qualification and / or significant relevant experience in a related field are required. Knowledge of prison or community probation systems and processes is an advantage.

  • This role is part of the Northern team with a focus on service delivery across the region. The role requires regular travel throughout the region;
