A fantastic opportunity exists to join the Sustainability team on a 12 month secondment / fixed term contract as Sustainability Manager -

Social ImpactOur purpose is to help customers financially to grow a better NZ. As a large NZ corporate, we have many touchpoints and ways to influence and create a positive impact.

This role focuses on the bank?s social impact, namely the financial wellbeing of New Zealanders, supporting Westpac's financial capability initiatives (using our financial expertise to help people reach their potential) and its role in building the financial independence of Kiwis (helping people participate in the economy and growth their wealth).

As a key player of the Westpac's Sustainability Team, this role will be involved in working with the team to develop Westpac's 2025 strategy and supporting broader team priorities such as building engagement with our employees and partners.

Help support the business and hold it accountable to delivering on the financial wellbeing pillar of Westpac?s Sustainability Strategy, as well as : Work within the business to integrate sustainability in what we do and support people to deliver on the sustainability strategyAct as an expert on financial wellbeing for communication and reporting purposesStrengthen and maintain relationships with business units, key influencers, senior leaders and external stakeholdersCommunicate initiatives both internally and externallyProject manage new initiativesWhat do I need?

First up ? you?ll be great with people. You?ll also be able to build strong relationships with stakeholders and bring passion for sustainability.

You will have : Demonstrated experience in delivering community, sustainability or corporate social responsibility programmes (5+ years?

experience)Excellent relationship / stakeholder management (ability to work effectively and collaboratively with others, building and maintain relationships with others to achieve outcomes)Excellent communication skills (oral and written)Good planning, project management and organisational skillsAbility to juggle different prioritiesInfluencing skillsStrategy developmentAttention to detailWhat?
