Chubb New Zealand is currently experiencing a period of accelerated growth, and as we continue to excel and make our mark in the local market, we are looking for high potential individuals to join our dynamic and fast paced team.

Your Role

Your role is to service and manage the Chubb New Zealand Consumer business, predominantly Speciality Personal Lines and Leisure Travel, with a focus on end-to-end product management, account management and key project management.

Your Responsibilities :

Overall account management and P&L responsibility for a large SPL partnership in NZ

Execution of product development activities for SPL, Travel, Direct Marketing, and Digital for NZ

Proactively engage with Management, Underwriting, Claims, Operations, Customer Service, Actuarial and IT in order to achieve both strategic and tactical production goals for the Consumer business in NZ

Act as a key resource and assist where necessary on the Consumer business in Australia

Develop and execute strategies, marketing campaigns, training manuals and other assets in order to profitably grow Consumer business in NZ

Manage and support the implementation of key projects including onsite training of partners

Champion Legal & Compliance requirements on behalf of Consumer business in NZ

Assist with ad-hoc projects and requests across the Consumer business as needed

Your Skills & Experience

Ability to lead projects to meet required deadlines and profit metrics

Display excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact with colleagues and clients at all levels

Pro-active, self-starter with the ability to perform tasks with minimal supervision

Decisive in decision making while exercising sound judgement

Demonstrate a high level of accuracy in daily activities, as specified in performance measures

Proficient in all Microsoft applications

Understanding of the Australia & New Zealand regulatory environment and requirements

Successful account management experience with a large telecommunication company would be ideal

Product development, underwriting and / or account management experience within the insurance industry is desirable

Insurance Institute qualifications completed, underway or willingness to complete
