The Trimble Weighing Solutions team design, develop and maintain a range of products to serve a variety of industries including quarrying, mining, civil construction, public works, transportation, waste and recycling, scrap recycling, agriculture and more.

Their products range from on machine scales and payload reporting to cloud based connected workflow and site & product management tools.

You’ll be part of a global team with a significant local presence. With roughly 50 employees in our Auckland team covering design through to production you will find yourself in the centre of a development environment where tangible real world solutions are being created daily.

About the Role : The wider team is responsible for design, development and QA / testing of cloud software solutions for on-machine weighing and aggregates / quarry management, using a mixture of automation tools and technologies.

As such duties include a significant amount of integration; functional; end-to-end; and acceptance testing with telemetry data, devices, external components and systems.

You’ll work as a key member of our team focussing on carrying out automated cloud software testing and quality assurance (QA) tasks.

This is a hands-on role where the key to success will be your ability to encourage and participate in strong and continuous collaboration with other team members.

You can expect the follow to be some of the key responsibilities of your new role : Testing and Quality Assurance of software improvements and additions for our cloud based product portfolio, including mobile, responsive web and backend services based on .

NET and MySQL. Working with the embedded development team to ensure that product integration into our cloud based portfolio is robust and well tested.

Evaluating, documenting and executing test plans and test cases using both manual and automated testing tools and techniques.

Regression testing prior to release cycles. Creating automated test scripts and test data, as new features are developed and existing features are enhanced.

Investigating and developing skills in new technologies as required to help deliver QA for the product requirements in our business area.

Continuously cast a customer’s eye'' across Loadrite products and systems and provide constructive guidance and feedback regarding usability and their fitness-for-purpose.

What you’ll Bring : You’ll bring your skills in effective collaboration, communication and a passion for automated testing, fault finding and problem solving along with : A tertiary qualification in computer science or other relevant discipline.

Proven test automation experience (Selenium framework, Katalon or similar) and a strong desire to expand further in this space.

Demonstrated commercial experience testing responsive web and applications with .NET backend systems. Strong scripting knowledge and skills.

Experience with the following will be beneficial : Postman, GitHub pipelines, FitNesse, C# coding. What’s in it for you : Be part of a team and company that puts people first.
