We are currently seeking an Environmental Scientist who shares our vision of creating a thriving and sustainable region - now and for generations to come.
With a focus on the wetlands domain, you will utilise your critical thinking skills and ability to manage complex systems to explore unique and robust solutions for a range of complex issues.
This role requires an effective relationship-builder and savvy communicator who can effectively convey complex information to a range of audiences.
A willingness to mentor and assist with the development of junior staff is also important.
As Environmental Scientist - Wetlands you will enjoy a varied role with a high degree of interaction with others. You will take a proactive approach to developing and maintaining strong relationships with community groups to promote and advance our research, science and technology needs and will take a collaborative approach to your work.
The role will suit someone who is confident providing leadership and direction to project teams and external contractors, and providing accurate and timely advice where requested.
You will be an enthusiastic team member and an innovative problem-solver with the ability to plan and implement effective wetlands and terrestrial habitats science investigations, and further develop existing programmes with a focus on continued improvement.

An initial offer of remuneration will be made within the range $85,170 - $95,190.
